Our performances have been at venues including Kirribilli House, the Art Gallery of NSW, Sydney Museum, Sydney Opera House, Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney Sheraton On The Park, Sydney Hilton Hotel, corporate functions, events, weddings, birthday celebrations and cocktail parties.
Cool jazz is a specialty of ours – the kind of Jazz that creates a sophisticated and delightful atmosphere.
The Great Gatsby and other 1920s themed events are popular at the moment! We’ve added lots of brilliant songs from that era. Requests are welcome!

2023 has been a great year so far for Blue Velvet Jazz. We’ve played some fabulous events, including a 30th birthday party with a very cool 1920’s Jazz theme – embracing the big 3-0 by saying goodbye with the 20’s. Everyone looked amazing and we enjoyed every minute. Here is what they said:

The interior refurbishment in Doltone House Hyde Park is a stand out. Designed by leading architect Koichi Takada, it is old-world glamour conveyed in truly unique materials and finishes, with gorgeous lighting and highly individualised geometric designs.
